Some days will seem large; other days, small. The waters may be choppy, or smooth. A fog may roll in; just as quickly it will roll out.
The light may seem equally like sunrise or sunset. Halfway across a wind will push you back, only to catch your back and take you twice as far.
All of which matters, but
