[VIDEO CLIP] What if the Market of Today was Here to Stay?

Ask ourselves the following question. Want to really scare yourself, but also excite yourself?

Here's how I do it.

What if exactly how the market is today is here to stay?

What if bringing a listing on and selling it in 30 days is here forever? What if entering the market and buying in 30 days is here forever?

First of all, I don't find that scary. I find that energizing because who wanted to sit on a listing for five months?

That was a lot of advertising and open houses and showings and fees and all those things that were just so expensive. How many postcard rounds did we have to do? How many newspaper ads did we used to do?

And the truth is that fast markets are better for us. It also means that there might be some practices that we can change the methodology of so that the sellers and buyers are still well-served with staged homes and videos and great photography.

What I'm trying to get at is this: The conditions we're in right now, we know we can do, however, if you're feeling a little out of breath, you got to have time to catch your breath. No, you're not going to take another meeting. What you're going to do is you're going to take a break, right. and not be back to back because you gotta be able to sustain it. Right. Because it's not going to do us any good as a company if we burn ourselves out.

There's a health challenge here. Don't burn yourself out.

And that means just making some really good choices, really good choices. Here's the one thing I know if you've got some buyers that aren't going to be best served by you right now, I know there's someone in the office who they could be equally well-served. That's why we have a great office.

That's why we have great colleagues. So start asking around, "Listen, I've got some buyers. I love them to death. I'd love for you to take over though, because I am at max."

That just means we leverage our organization.

We leverage our systems, tools and each other a little bit better, and we create this wonderful way of doing all of the business without having to do all of the business ourselves.
