Join Matthew Ferrara, Philosopher & Speaker for a free Zoom webinar on how to strengthen our emotional intelligence.

The program will be offered in two parts: A 60-minute exploration of how emotional intelligence works, ways to increase our self-awareness of strong emotions and techniques for managing our reactions and redirect them towards positive outcomes. Plus a discussion of how to become more aware of others’ emotions to effectively improve our relationships. The first part of the program will feature stories, examples and interactive activities for participants to engage in the learning.

Topics include:

  • What is emotional intelligence and why is it important to strengthen, especially in difficult times

  • Ways to increase our awareness of strong emotions and their impact on our personal performance and relationships with others

  • Techniques to improve our ability to manage our emotions and refocus them towards positive outcomes

  • How to notice strong emotions in others and take steps to improve our social interactions in person and even online

Attendees do not have to have previous knowledge the topic to participate, although we will recommend some excellent additional reading and video material on the topic during the program.

Following the first portion of the program, Matthew will host a 30-minute open question and answer session with participants.

The session is open to the public and is limited to the first 500 participants who sign up. The first hour of the program will be recorded and may be shared publicly afterwards. The Questions and Answer portion will not be recorded to facilitate a free-flowing conversation with participants. We encourage anyone interested in learning more about how their emotional intelligence works and ways to improve it to participate.
