At least the buyers know what to expect if they do decide to go see the listing! As a Buyer's Agent, most of my clients started as internet leads. It's amazing how often they are dissapointed because the house doesn't look as good as it did online. Frequently I hear "It's smaller that it looked online". Some clients will spend HOURS looking at the pictures and will have the houses memorized before going to see them. I always explain that if the agent put all the negatives online, they wouldn't be interested in the listing. It's the listing agent's job is to put the property in the best light in order to attract Buyers.
Hey - at least the toilet seat was down!
