Thanks Matthew for the blog. I just neded to reread that information to know it is the way of the future. I just received an invite to Linkedln. I didn't know what it was about. I had never heard of it,but I said yes.Looked good to me. Now that you have mentioned it,I better look into it some more.
My neice who is a broker in Texas does the myspace thing and advertises her properties on that. I like how she can give the tour and speak and a consumer really feels like they are walking thru the property with her.
I did, however, just send out over 300 letters in a neighborhood I hope to bring into my sphere. oh oh. :) I will have to wait and see what happens after about four letters to the same people, maybe they will remember my name and call???? I can hope.

Hey Rossi:

There's plenty of real estate "repair work" for twenty of us - so keep up the good work and I'm glad when hosts are booking you if they can't get me (LOL) because at least I'm confident you're working toward the right goals. I am STILL amazed at the vendors that brokers and associations have as "sponsors" at their events. Postcard people; newspapers; ugh!

Wouldn't it be a scream if we let CONSUMERS in on some of the classes we do! They might be SHOCKED to see how many agents are just learning that the web is now in version "2.0" LOL

Well, keep up the good work!
Be well,
Matthew

Bravo Matthew, you are so right on target here and often elsewhere. In my book Dog Eat Dog & Vice Versa and slam agents and brokers for advertising and marketing in all the wrong places for all the wrong reasons.

YELLOW PAGES, for instance, who uses them? Not buyers and sellers looking for an agent!

Real Estate Television channels! Who in their right mind whould think of sitting for hours listening to "This lovely ranch..." UGH! Let alone wainting for their price range to appear on this slower than an out of gas Prius media!

Although I compete with you for educational dollars I commend you for your out of the 1900's thinking! Thanks for all you do for the real estate profession.

Keep Smiling
