» Continuing Education Certification Information
As a real estate professional, you are probably aware that all 50 states have 50 different regulatory bodies with 50 different approval guidelines.
As a result, some of our courses that are approved in one state may not be approved in another state. In some states, technology courses cannot ever be approved, at least by past and current guidelines.
Approval also varies in duration, from one day/event to three years. In some cases, our course approval may have expired if we have not conducted a session in that state in recent months. Some states also approve courses only for delivery in a specific physical location (a certain school or hotel, for example).
Additionally, real estate commissions are comprised of appointed members and volunteers who change frequently - and subsequently change their approval systems. Many of our courses have been approved, then un-approved, then re-approved within a five year period as these committees have changed as well. In some instances, past approval does not mean that a renewal or future course approval will occur.
Matthew Ferrara Seminars has worked closely with many of the members of the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO) and non-ARELLO state real estate commissions to secure and renew course approvals. If we currently do not have a course approved in your state, we will certainly provide outlines and materials so that your workshop can apply for approval in time for your event.
Finally, since Matthew Ferrara Seminars is not an approved school in every jurisdiction, any and all courses that are approved for CE require that the host or related entity (Board, Association) is an approved school that will administer and report the student attendance to the state real estate commission as required by their local regulations.
Any approval indications in our courseware, marketing materials or web site are strictly indicators of "past" approval for that course and may not be current. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you and recommend you inquire directly with us as to current or future approval in your state for any specific course. |
